Six bottles of freshly arrived European rosés ready for patio hangouts and BBQ's!
Chateau Ermite d'Auzan
Classic southern French rosé.
50% Cinsault/50% Grenache from Languedoc, France
Txakoli Primo Rosado
A very special, yet very simple wine to those from it's native Basque region in the far NW corner of Spain, right on the Bay of Biscay.
With the slightest hint of effervescence--which only happens because it is bottled very quickly after winemaking and meant to be consumed young in that same year--it is light and easy and all the right hints of juicy strawberry and watermelon, yet totally dry and a salty sea air infused finish. Perennial summertime favorite.
100% Hondarrabi Beltza from Basque, Spain
Olivares Jumilla Rosado
What an excellent, crisp, dry rose for a great price. Located about 3 hours south of Madrid, these old, dry-farmed vineyards are grown at higher elevations to maintain freshness. Zesty notes of raspberry, cherry, citrus, and white flowers are fresh, balanced, and lively.
100% Garnacha from Jumilla, Spain
Mas de Valeriole 'Ve' Rosé
Outstanding south of France rosé -- this Mediterranean Sea kissed rosé is light and bright and bursting with melon and berry notes but not overwhelming fruity and the perfect balance of acid.
80% Caladoc/20% Merlot from Provence, France
Domaine de Fenouillet Ventoux Rosé
Organic, low yield and high quality fruit go into this perfectly pale French rosé. It has a focused rich texture, with strawberry and peach fruit, and an earthy dose of eucalyptus in the background. While dense, it has a light mineral finish, making it refreshing to drink.
50% Cinsault/40% Grenache/10% Syrah from Rhone Valley, France
Castilla de Jumilla Rosado
A perfect cheap and cheerful Spanish rosé, not overly complicated, but bone dry with just enough fruit and balanced acidity.
100% Monastrell from Jumilla, Spain
