From the western region of Hungary near the border with Austria, which is why it is not surprising to find many winemakers growing the Gruner Veltliner grape.  
A richer style of Grüner, this wine is perfect for the myriad of Thanksgiving dishes, offering notes of green apples and super ripe stonefruits, but finishes dry and full of minerals.
